Please some one guide me.I am new in this forum. My patience is running out. I am in St. kitts . I send my medicals and police clearance to visa office port of spain in march , till today i have not received any letter from them . I am just wish to know if any body got a permanent residence visa from they to travel to quebec . Hope to read from you guys.

Hey everyone!!...So looks like the 4th will be the big day. Unfortunately todays my birthday and our anniversary is the 1st.
But...at this point not even worried about it, just cant wait for him to come home.

Hello guys, i still have no updates...asked for the files note 25 days ago so it shouldnt be much longer before i get them and might have a better idea why its taking so long. Will keep you all posted!

I love the web cam dinner idea!!! My anniversary with hubby is august 23rd...6 years already! Ouf im getting old!! Wishing we can celebrate with the residency settle!!

after reading ALL of these posts to give me courage to keep hanging on, and some tips to make things faster... POS like to take their sweet a&?% time!

We file on January 18th 2012
Got letter from CIC April 2nd 2012
Got CSQ accepted May 1fst (it seriously took 24hrs to give it to us)
And since then, nothing-nada-rien!

I send a caips request almost 4 weeks ago. And after reading you all, a send a ECS last tuesday, july 24th. I check online this morning, and now its says IN PROCESS SINCE JULY 23RD 2012.

Our medical has been accepted since april 2nd too.

What's next? Should i be hopefull that we will receive papers soon?

Hi again,

I should maybe explain that I am canadian with no kids, he's guyanase but hold as well Barbados citizenship, divorced but no kids for him. So we apply with his Barbadian passeport.

We included everything: papers, picture, medical, police, all fees paid (what a chunk of $$$).

Have some faith, you will hear from them soon. I submitted my documents and pp seven weeks now, yet no word from them. E- Cas still saying in process - medical result has been received. sent email, but no response.

Can anyone advise as how long POS can/will keep your passport?
