okay i am soo lost and in need for help....im getting extremely confuse..........first off congrats to all that have gotten through and is done with all...cant wait to reach that point...secondly thumbs up to all those that have already apply and just waiting...good luck and best wishes.... ...now here i go...i am in the process of applying, and what seems to be a simple question to most of you may not be to me at this time... but im reading all sort of stuff...and getting extremely confuse...this is regarding the medicals and police clearance...question... do i have to get those things before hand and send it in with my application to my spouse, soo he can send it to the processing center...or do i have to wait until the processing center in canada sends my application down to Trinidad and wait for Trinidad to request those things from me...and then send it in????

Are you the sponsor or the applicant? It seems as if you are the applicant, living in Trinidad.
The applicant needs to complete the medicals and the police clearances before sending his/her completed part of the application to the sponsor. The sponsor then puts his/her completed part together with that of the applicant's and send them off to CHC-M providing the application is for an outland spousal sponsorship.

thanks smokijoe !!!!that clarified it for me...i think....(please dont laugh) but this means that i should include my medical and police results in the application package that im sending to my sponsor??? Right?im pretty sure more dumb questions may be on its way... ;D lol....

Thank you Melanitabonita, Smokijoe and Saka. Hubby sent the prepaid courier info today. Still cant beleive were done!

Melanitabonita...status still says in process, I dont think that changes until they send the COPR forms to my husband.

You need 4 more posts (minimum of 10) before you can add profile details.

Yes, you need to include proof of your medical examination (you will get a form from the doctor) and your police certificates in your application documents.

Congrats Can4V..it's been a long time coming ..i'm so happy for you.. ;D..I'm landing tomorrow Toronto then on to Montreal. Hope POS sends some more folks home to their loved ones...

UPDATE UPDATE my friends....POS just called hubby and thats it!!! Were done
Just have to make arrangements with Fed-ex to pick up and deliver his COPR forms.
So excited...we have like 3 weeks to get him on a plane and home.

Here is a quick question guys, and yes I am a newbie on this forum, actually I came across this website while I was doing some research.

It has been five weeks now since I submitted by pp, medicals, and pay my RPRF. Medical went directly to Canada.

Other documents were submitted in Guyana. I was told to return one month after to collect my pp, showed up there and was told, its not ready. There has been no movement on Ecas, except to say, medicals results have been received.

How long can they actually keep your passport? I sent them an email but the usual, no response.

pp is needed to travel on a business trip

Well I saw those beautiful 2 words weve been waiting for today....DECISION MADE. ;D
They told hubby he should have his COPR by Monday.

BBP...I would give it like 8 weeks before panicing. We paid RPRF in March and submitted new medicals in June and just got word 3 days ago. Good luck.

Hi Guys, just poking in my head today to say I've landed...my landing went sweet and fast. I landed at Pearson Int'l then connected to my flight to Montreal. I was the only person in immigration for PR so all i did was hand over my docs, signed and the Officer just asked if i had any meat and off i went to collect my luggage to connect to my flight. Applied for my SIN number and got it today. Card will be mailed in a week. Will apply for health on MOnday. My hubby was so excited to see me..when we got up he led me to the bedroom and there on the bed was written out in rose petals i love you...I'm so happy to be finally here. CanVincy it's so nice to see those words DECISION MADE, Congrats again. Hope next week POS sends some more peeps home.
