Hello to all, its has been a while since i gave some news...well mainely because i got no newa!
Last time i heard from POS was to confirm they received the Police paper from DAS authorities inColombia ( yes my love is colombian but SXM resident) and since then nithing. I have been writing to them every month from febuary to may, and every week in june.
My husband residency expired in june so he is back in colombia, and im on canadian maternaty leave so im here in colombia with him and our two girls. I informed them of the change...nothing, no responce. I called Ottawa who told me if the file is far enough, it should nt be tranfered to colombia they should finished it, ECAS say medical received since the opening of our file in october so im not sure what will happen.
Very hard to wait but keeping my chin up, at least we are lucky to be together!
Tell me what you think
Here is what my ecas show since october 2011

We received your application for permanent residence on April 11, 2011.
We started processing your application on October 18, 2011.
Medical results have been received.

Hi guys,

I guess that was our first huge huge fight ...im so glad everything is wonderful and back on track... However I've been faxing POS to ask them to continue processing the file... I'm so stupid.. But that life... Hopefully everything will be ok ... I believe in god...I got a hint that our file was at it final stage.. So lets keep our fingers cross.. This is all about the distance...

That's good to hear. Hopefully you I does not affect the processing.

Hi there guys, still waiting on PR card, wrong photos...womp womp :-*

Hello to all, so ive orderes my CAIPS will give me a hint
pefully it today via email...hopefully it will give me a hint as to why its taking so long to finalize..
Will keep you posted

@ Mélanie bonita.. Comment tu commande les notes??

to order caips, fill up the IMM5563 form available on the immigration site

Hello, i will reply in english so all can know what you asked...i filled up this form above, alone with the concentment form from my man saying i can ask for the notes about his file, paid the 5 dollars fee via internet and emailed it to them alone with a copy of my passport.
I belive it wiill take about 28 days for i asked for the electronic notes not the phisycal one, the difference between both is written on the form.
I will post the notes once i get them
Let me know if you need more info

That's correct, and when we ordered our own, it took right about 30 days to arrive. A point of correction : you will receive gcms notes, not caips, as they are no longer using that system (unless your file is quite old and was initially entered into caips).

I personally found caips to be more useful than gcms, the only thing we were able to gleam from our file was the next brought forward date

Thanks you so much melanitabonita... Hopefully u recognize me fly often to SXM ?

Hi everyone would like to share my situation and would appreciate any stress enlightenment if you or some one you know ave been through a similar situation.

I was in canada applied for inland sponsorship but withdrew my application after I recieved a negative Prra decision and was ordered to leave Canada on the 24-06-2012. my wife and i immediately file an outland application. recieved on 28-06-2012. I was told that i would need ARCH. do I have to apply for ARCH rihgt now or I can Just pay the fee at interview or after being ask for. Further more I did not have my medicals and police certificate included in my application can I do them and send it in now or should I wait when they ask for it. also need some time frame on application completion thanks to all who replied.

FIERA77 of course i remember you girl...we work for the same companie no??jajajaja
Great to hear from you! All the best !
Is it just me, but i have a hard time wiht abreviations on this site...regarding the last post whats are they?
Thanks and enjoy the day!!!

No, it's not just you. I didn't reply to that post because I have no idea what some of the abbreviations mean and I don't want to give false information. So many abbreviations for so many different situations with applicants.. adn while they are very familiar to the applicant (just like our abbreviations are so annoyingly familiar to us), if others are not in that situation, it's hard to know what they mean. Hopefully someone will know... but I certainly don't.

Yes Mel ;) i sent you à few e mails.. I was wondering about your delivery aswell for ur hubby papers... We went thru a ruff path now our first big argument...and I fax pos to cxx the process.. And 2 days later fax them again to discard the first fax... And to continue processing the file... What a story and nut case I am...hopefully soon he will be here

Greetings Fellow Forum Members

I've been M.I.A. I apologize but i've been extremely ill. I am currently in CA. Landing story coming soon. I missed all of you. Haven't read through all the threads yet but I hope there has been progress on files. For one, I see @Can4Vincy had an update on E-CAS. Praise God for that.

A warm welcome to all the newbies. Lots of beneficial info is available on this forum.
