It really is, however it is way better for you if you have a lot of experience in the field you are looking into. If you decide you really want to move you can start applying for jobs in the GTA now. That way you can see how many hits you would get on your resume. You can also apply to some agencies, company websites and things like that, if you need any advise on websites just ask me.

I have been applying for jobs online actually but it hasnt been successful. I guess u have to be there physically too be considered? Someone told me its a good idea to use the temp agencies to find a temp job that may lead to a perm one.

Good morning everyone , another day of waiting .
So I did not get my birthday wish ...c'est la vie .
Today is 60 days since the sponsorship was approved .

Hey Guys,

Yesterday POS called me to inform that my sponsor was to pay the RPRF in Canada. When I submitted my pp, I submitted a bank draft simultaneously in the Fed Ex pckg. She said that the bank draft was cashed but I will be refunded the money. Called hubby yesterday and he paid it online with his cc. However, he had issues putting in his info. For whatever reason, it wasn't letting him do that. I do have the receipt # etc as the payment went through. My intentions today is to email or fax POS the receipt with an explanation as to why his info was missing. Also, to fax Mississauga the same info. Waiting on the green light to do all this.

yup still not a word from Lawyer about my case, wify did not get her birthday wish.
I know that it will happen very soon.

Saka101- I had to get an FBI clearance too from the US and my home country. If you are in a different country for more than a year you should get police clearance. FBI does take about 8-9 weeks. get it better safe than sorry. it will only delay your case

Good morning all.
Just got a call from CHC PoS informing me that my visa is ready to be issued. They will send me my COPR as they do not need my passport as I am visa exempt.
I am super excited at the moment, also the missus arrived safely last nite. We are on cloud nine.

No updates on our end. We got a repeat email from CICnfirming that our application was received Nov 14... not quite sure what that was about :-\
