Nothing from us, just another day :)

Night Forum Fam,

Well the lil update I have is from E-CAS. Today they added the line, "We started processing your application on April 18, 2012." Pretty much, the same day I got my PPR. If POS is gonna give a decent E-CAS update then by all means proceed. Every other day they seem to put a lil update. C'mon, the same day they updated to in-process as a matter of fact, medicals have been recv'd, that line should have been added simultaneously alongside in-process. Nope!!! Not with POS!!!! It takes a total of 5 days to add one sentence. Initially, medicals were added and it still said app recv'd. These ppl are working bqwards and yet still slow.....Smh. KGN is putting POS to shame....

Well tmw is another day. Let's see what this office has in store for us. :-\

Sweet dreams!!!!!

Sent POS a CSE on sunday nite, they have yet to answer. Just checked my eCas as I have just read Admirable's last post.
My status has been updated to read "we started processing your application on 22 March". My ecas had shown that my application went to IN PROCESS from 1 April. POS never seem to do anything unless they are prompted. i look forward to some movements from them.

Well you will get PPR soon. It took exactly 2 weeks after they 'we started processing' that I rec'd PPR. Then again that is Buffalo. POS is on a whole 'nother level. But it seems like your email did push them to start working..

KG is the same guys, dont worry...a bunch of scattered fool fool updates. LOL My ecas seemed on point tho throughout the process, however, mine seemed to always update on friday nights, saturday or sunday...never tuesday as they say!! in progress from what i read means someone is literally working on it, so let's take that as a great sign!!!

Its my Birthday and my wish is to hear some good news from POS.
Wish me luck everyone ..
My husband is waiting for his passport request from POS.
We're almost done ! I am so hoping I hear something today.

Have a great day everyone

Good Morning Forum Fam,

@ SmokiJoe Let's give them till Thursday. I'm all for sending CSE's Sunday night and Thursdays during the morning. In the past, i've gotten responses on those days. Hopefully, it's COPR docs for you as you are already visa exempt.

@ MrsLWSN I think any random day can be an update day. I've had last Wed, Friday, Sun and/or Mon all basically justifying my file is in-process. I had to send a CSE requesting the status of my file as E-CAS has not been updated at all. I would think in-process means if they're requesting interviews, medical redos etc, they're working on our files & not when you're at the very end. E-CAS is a great thing only if used correctly. If they did their work in a timely manner, we won't have to send CSEs about the status of our files...#realtalk. Let's hope I don't have to send them a CSE in ref to my passport.

@ Saka The crazy thing is that as slow as POS is, they are probably better than a couple other VOs out there. I think CIC needs to implement changes so as to create efficiency and effectiveness in the processing of applicants. Taking extremely long to complete one file can create backlogs when it's just sitting in a file cabinet and 5 more comes in....Smh!!!!

@ Mysticsher Happy Birthday and welcome. Can you share your timeline going through the POS office with us?

Just peeked into the KGN forum and voila....another PPR. POS wake uppppppppppp!!!!!! *knocking pots and pans*

@ Admirable just bang their heads together, that will get them up. lol
I wish they do something (one way or the other) soon. Not that I am needing it that badly, as I cannot leave BIM until June anyway. The waiting is driving me nuts.
Hoping you get your PP & visa asap.
