All the different numbers -be it your spouses client ID, your client ID or the application file number- contain the same information. The only differerence is that the different client ID's would have either your mailing address or your spouses. For myself I have looked at them all and thats the only difference I've seen. When checking the application file number you use the sponsored person's information, ie name, DOB, country etc. Its sometimes bettter to use the sponsor client ID because when using it you get both sponsor approval status as well as visa office info such as the date they received it in POS and medicals when they get it. But again the information is all the same.

Question - in regards to the sponsored person, do they contact their employers?

They probably would'nt ususally do that. However, if they have a concern with your case they will likely investigate the concern using different methods and possibly contact people. Did you notice in Sankaam daughters' case they visited her home I think twice to determine if she was in a common law relationship. So that is a possibility if they believe your employers can clarify something for them. I think if anything -in an extreme case- they would contact a friend or family member, I don't see what an employer can add.

Hey thanks trini777, right after i posted i went to check and i used the UCI (unique client identifier). I got some info not really what i wanted but it still helped some :)

Update!!!!! Update!!!!! Update!!!!!!!!!!

Today was mail day for me besides the usual bills....lolz

I received a letter from POS today. Rushing home to see what it states. From the looks of it, it seems as though its an AOR. Will post more info l8r when I read it myself.
I also got my clearance today....Can we say.....Finallyyyyyy!!!!!

Ok Guys...Letter in hand. It Is An AOR!!!!!
These folks are unbelievable!!!!!!!!

Remember I sent POS a CSE last mth??? I simply stated in that email I haven't heard a word from them bla bla bla....No AOR etc. Well in response, they (POS) responded (via email) with my file # as requested. This is after 4 attempts.

The AOR gives me my B# & F#. It states that they received my file in May but online shows March and it is indeed March. That's an error on their part. It also states to contact the office in 6-12 months if you don't hear anything. Im sooo past that. I'm also hoping that the AOR is not suggesting that I wait another 6 to 12 mths before contacting them. After all, they sent me a standard letter. One thing for sure is that I will be responding to CHC POS in a very stern yet prudent letter. I think this is ridiculous.

This office needs more than an audit...More like an epiphany.....Smh. They only sent it because I complained several times. I guess December was a time of catching up for the work they didn't do year round. Trying to meet year end quotas perhaps?

I will also be submitting my clearances by next week. I just added my January 2012 update for AOR on the s/s. It don't even feel right at all.

Well off to enjoy my weekend folks. I'm definitely not gonna let CHC POS dampen my spirits.
Toodles......xxx
