Hi Everyone!!

Ok, sorry for the long delay in responce.....so here is the deal.

Hubby got a call from the immigration officer the day after we received the letter. She told him not to panic. She said, go get your medical redone, drop off the information in POS and then I will call you when we are all finished and ready to close off the file. If he cant find a flight before Feb4th then his daughter will have to re-do her meds, but the reason she is saying all this is because if she closes the file he HAS to exit Trinidad before Feb 4th or everything we have done is null and void ...... she has been really helpful! So, as of today hubby is going to buy his ticket this morning (hopefully) and I will know exactly when he is coming!!! Then he has to call his immigration officer and get his passport back, at which time she will close his file.......

Hope everyone gets good news soon!!!!!.....It has taken us about 14 months for the entire process.

Another week and yesssss an update.

Well LD, here's to hoping that everything is completed before the 4th. After 14 months of waiting, this is long overdue.

I've been quite hesitant in sending a CSE to POS. I prefer to do so after submitting my new PCCs.

Thank you, thank you (bows to audience). Lol actually Admirable did all that, I just gave her some info earlier on and she did the hard stuff. Im sure she will appreciate the compliments. I have not heard of it being implemented as yet, but they did say this year so it must be coming.

Just an update - Hubby is flying into Toronto on Thursday Feb. 2nd!!!! Im so happy this is finally over! I will keep everyone updated with the landing process (fingers crossed that goes ok)

Update on our end...sponsorship approval has been granted and the application for PR has been forwarded on to POS. We're now officially part of the fam . For the spreadsheet, our app was received in Mississauga on Nov 14 and sponsorship approval granted Jan 17

I'd like to ask a question as dumb as it may be, e-cas has had my status the same way since i applied last July 2011. This is what it states 'We received your application for permanent residence on July 12, 2011.' Now my question is that since i have my File number, can i check my e-cas with this number instead of the usual application number? If so how? Afterall usung the application number doesn't help me much at all. Thanks
