Hi folkes,
So my daughter received her first letter with her B file #. does anyone know how long it should take to be called for interview or for passports.
Hope not long now.

Thanks

My husband was called for an interview about 4 and half months after POS received our file

@ ks232

You entering the US illegally will obivously be brought up in your application process. Just be honest about it. All you have to do is prove a genuine marriage in your application.

Also try directing your concern to Leon or other top members of this forum who may be more familiar with cases similar to yours.

Best of luck!!!

@Sannkam An interview is not always required. Just have to sit tight and wait. Processing times for POS is approx 14 mths. It may take less or more. Happy waiting!!!

I was reading our AOR from POS....and they stated that processing times through their office are 6 to 12 months.

Even better @Can4Vincy . I was going based on the processing times listed on CIC website. I did not receive AOR from POS.

Did they send you AOR through email or snail mail?

If I remember correctly it was e-mailed to our lawyer.

my husband got his AOR through snail mail and it said the same thing about 6 to 12 months.

i believe that it also said if we didnt hear from them between that time to contact them. 6 months for us is in early december so i am going to contact them if we dont hear from them by then

Hey alo...how are you?
We received our med and documents request snail mail...during the postal strike of course lol.
That's our biggest delay (I hope)

Hey Can4Vincy

I am surviving...today is one of the tough days...just....missing the hubby of course.

now i just checked my ecas and it said that our medicals have been received. which i mean we sent it with our application. but at least it means that they are looking at our application right.

anyone else have any news...big or small

Meds received is great...maybe you'll be one whos through quickly. I hope so.
and yes I've been having those days alot lately myself.

POS had requested background checks and interview before our ecas updated to in process...(in April)

Hi Everyone!
Ive been reading this forum for awhile now, and its really been helping me through this VERY slow process. I cant really complain as there have not been very many bumps along the road for us .... yet (fingers crossed) :)
We started this whole process in November 2010, and we now just received an e-cas update that "medical results have been received".....Im hoping this is a good thing!??!?
We had one problem to overcome, it was that my commom-law partner overstayed his visa and was told to leave. We paid the 400 fee and filled out all the proper paperwork they wanted us to, and that all happen at the end of September. Does anyone know how long it takes to process this? I heard it goes to another department......any insight on this would be great :)

Alo, med recieved is usually at the end of the process, so cross your fingers that this will be over soon! Im thinking is they needed additional info they should have asked for it already.

Can4vincy, any updates yet? I cant even imagine how frustrated you are.
