It's a headache. I'm so stressed!

Oh lord smh. I was reading messages in this thread from others way back in 2010/2011 and some people were getting through in 5-8 months and the processing times were I believe 15-18months back then. There were a few individuals that took 2 years. I guess it all depends on your case. I dont see anything in my case that would cause such a long delay. My husband has 1 non accompanying dependent. First marriage for both of us and No criminal stuff so im confused on the delay . I called the Grenada police station to find out if POS contacts them to verify anything further and he just told me the police record that they provide is sufficient. So im sooo lost on why it takes so long. There is something not right over there. Clearly the workers are slacking

Pretty much the same for me Truebeauty. It is truly baffling that the process is taking this long. I have uncrossed the fingers that i had crossed. lol

Lol I know right. Im wondering if I should order the Officer notes. The lawyer told me for them to order the notes it will cost $500 and then $5 government fee. I was like to her “ cant i just order the notes for $5? And she was like yes. they want to charge me $500 just so they can order the notes on my behalf. Do you think I should order the notes or send an enquiry to POS first?

Damn your lawyer is wicked. You have your file number beginning with an F000? Order it yourself! that's crazy. My lawyer ordered mine and told me its ok. As it is you've paid a lot of money to him/her. What the dickance is wrong with some of these unsympathetic lawyers.

I ordered the notes! So i guess I have to wait 30+ days for the notes now....

Lol. Now this is absurd. We ordered our notes and got them within two weeks. Simple and straightforward...these lawyers are just extortionists. They take simple things and make them seems soo complicated and fancy in description so they can put an expensive price on it. Be careful with them , especially when it comes to this immigration process.

On another note, any updates anyone ? Any ppr 's today / pre arrival services letters ??

Whats your timeline? Have you sent an inquiry to POS? If an interview is required does it take place in Trinidad or would the fly out to Grenada? I heard some cases where rgis has happened
