I'm glad you had a good holiday with your hubby and that you've made arrangements to not be apart for too long. It is such a blessing that you have found a way to be together during this time.

Hubby left and with an almost complete application package. We worked like slaves on it for one week straight. We only break to eat and bathroom, and shower , however, it was so much better working on it together in person as oppose to Skype and the phone. And yes, we saw the ball drop on the computer bc we were working on phone records evidence. So much for new year party :

However, with all that said, we both knew its a step closer of being together We are almost finish. We are just waiting on some letters from friends and family to come in.

I was nodding and smiling to myself at your comment about it being so much easier when you are together working on the app. !! I remember doing that with my hubby once we were finally together in Trinidad and it was so much better than trying to do it via SKYPE and phone.......soon yours will be done and I can tell you it is much better to take the time now and sending a full and complete application that you are confident with, than rushing to submit something that you will constantly be worried about and second guessing yourselves about.

So the attention to detail now will pay off later as you will see. Once we submitted ours I would read something on the forum and have these mini-panic attacks like......"Oh did we send this, or did we answer that question properly??" Then I would rush off to get my copy of the application and flip through it and breathe a sigh of relief .......I cannot tell you how many times I did that during our process. So when you send it let us know and I will update the spreadsheet with your good news!!! Blessings.

Can-Vinc......the countdown is on girl!!! Hubby's interview next week (in case you forgot ), we will be on your shoulder and his with prayers for victory.

Remember to have him directly ask the IO if he has passed eligibility and what will the next steps be, and how long will they take? Many of the IOs will tell the person right away at the interview, some won't, but it does not affect anything for an applicant to simply ask the question. Also if the IO does not answer that is not an indication of refusal so in that case do not read anything negative into that.

I have read of many stories on the forum where the individual asks and the IO tells them directly. I think it is up to each of the officers to decide how much info. they want to share. Getting excited for you both to have this behind you with a positive outcome ;D! Blessings.

Hey girl, I just posted an update on your thread so check that out too!! I can say it was one of my best, most relaxing holidays with my husband here. It is very sweet indeed to be reunited with your loved ones for the holidays and to finally be able to have my close family members and friends meet hubby? Ahhhhhh ........I am thanking the good Lord above that we were able to have that experience and a relatively short immigration process. 2014 will be your year and you may even have some other good news to share........A 2014/2015 "landing" baby perhaps??? Blessings.

I'm so thrilled you and hubby enjoyed the holidays with family and friends a true blessing for such a wonderful person like yourself. 2014 will be an awesome year for a lot of us life finally begins to come together. A different kind of hell is a good way of putting it my dear!! He will do well and the IOs actually expect that people will ask those questions. It's normal to be anxious and eager. We are here for you Can-Vinc. Blessings.

Ahhh - hubby is all set to fly out Sunday night in advance of his interview. Trying to maintain a reasonable level of sanity here. I'm doing ok for now b/c I'm at work and I'm fairly good at compartmentalizing but in about few hours when work is done, it may be a different story. We have everything ready that we were asked for and them some... TONS of proof, etc. I will keep you posted when I hear stuff... I'm not sure if this is going to be a blessing or a curse but my Monday at work is shaping up to be really busy when all I will really want to do is stare at my phone!

....Understandable my girl, I would be so distracted.....I'm going to be distracted anyway and it's not even my hubby !!! Has hubs got a place to stay?
