Hey guys, any idea on how long it takes to get an answer stating that the application is received and being process? I mailed it to the Canadian embassy in Mississauga on march 27-2012.

Happening here and you should actually get your wife to join so she could get some encouragement as well
But good luck to you and your wife. Congrats to everyone who are getting response from Trinidad I see they are moving and working they need too speed up the process and reunite a lot more families!!! I'm actually considering marriage but it's soo hard I honestly hate the waiting and processing time and considering going to the states where ill be a landed citizen but but heart lies in Canada but I'm soooo confused .......

My laptop crashed...I lost everything. I am disappointed because all my msn convos which would serve as good relationship evidence are all gone. The pics are gone too but luckily I had them on a cd. This sucks.

No need to stress Saka. I did not submit any chat conversations from msn, FaceBook or emails even though I put on the forms we communicate by these means. Reality is, folks do not save every single email or chat log or FB msg.

From today onwards, whatever you gather for proof of relationship, save it twice. You'll be fine!!!!!!

You maybe able to salvage your files chat logs etc. You can add the laptop hard drive to a pc and retreive the files that way or you can purchase a portable hard drive enclosure, add the HD to it and then use it as a portable hard drive via usb. You would need to know if the hard drive is a SATA or IDE drive tho.
