Port of entry work permit issuance duration

Hello Everyone,

I need an immediate help to know how we get Work permit duration at port of entry while coming thru ICT visa?

Do the immigration team at border check the newly issued offer letter duration to give WP or it will issued for same duration for which we get TRV visa for?

It woud be really appreciated if someone went thru or aware about this process and can share details.

Work permit is generally issued for 3 years for an ICT.

so they check what duration is mentioned into new offer letter or they issue a work permit for visa duration that is stamped on passport?
