Hi,
I applying for permanent residency of my spouse who is India and she has lived for the most of her life in Punjab and spent 2 years in Delhi for her work purposes, Is anyone else in the same situation from India where the spouse has lived in two different provinces , how many police clearances does she have to submit ?

She needs one from each place she lived for more than six months. So based on what you wrote she would need 2 of them.

I thought that you need to provide PCC from different countries, not provinces, where you lived more than 6 month....am I wrong?

Different countries 6 months or more since 18. And not just lived in but also any visits that cumulatively add up to 6 months or more.

If your wife is currently staying in Delhi and is staying in Delhi from past 2 years, then yes, ideally your PCC should be from Delhi. But if not, then PCC should be from Punjab. But, if you are getting PCC from Delhi, be very careful while mentioning current and permanent address, as any mistakes can cause huge delays. In either case, it will be only one PCC. Mine was a similar case, and I submitted only one PCC.

@BroomStick
thanks for response, She is in currently in Punjab and has been staying there for the past one month, we will be getting married in the next month though, she stayed in Delhi until the last month, by your response it seems that it would have to be for Punjab Only
