Police clearance validity

Hello everyone,

How long does the Indian police clearance certificate issued by Indian consulate remain valid for ? My PCC was issued in the last week of August and I never visited India after that. Should I get a new PCC or the current one is good for one month

It is valid even if you go on short travel to India...for 2-3 weeks..
