Police Clearance from Riyadh? Help wanted...

Dear all,
I want to get police clearance certificate from Riyadh KSA. Please answer the following questions:
What is this certificate called in KSA
From where i can get it please tell me the exact location. I am in Muraba area.
If i require some forms from where i can get them.
Please help i am new in Riyadh. Your answer will be of great help.

Listen, u have to wait a form from ur CHC you will receive it by mail, then u take it to the ministry of foreign affairs then after a stamp from them u can go to any police department to get the last step....then u r ready to send ur application to CHC,,,,,my question now:
Did u get the form from CHC to get ur police certificate from KSA????

normally, the embassy with send you a request (in arabic, they say). this request is to be brought to ksa's dept of foreign affairs for stamping (nasseriyah). then you will bring this form to the police dept near Dira (im not sure about the spelling). then you'll be given a claim stub, be back after 4-5days. after you claimed it, don't forget to have it translated

Friends Thanks for immidiate response. My office hours are very long and my major concern is time plz plz answer some further questions.
Where the dept of foreign affairs is located and what are their timings also Where the police dept is located and what are their timings i will have to go from my office hours.
How long the whole procedure will take.

send a request asap to CHC for PCC request letter in Arabic. don't forget to give your mobile no. ,as they will contact you.
Once you receive this letter ,tell your PRO to get it attested from ministry of external affairs in your area. Once attestation is done you have to go to the police station with your PRO and it will take one month for all these.

What CIC says:

If your application is being processed at the Canadian High Commission in London, you are not required to obtain a police certificate until the London visa office sends you a police certificate request letter with instructions on how to apply.

For the PCC, it is very simple. Finding a convenient time early in the morning is better. You have to get your finger prints ( in arabic " basma" ). If you ask any taxi driver in Riyadh to take you for 'basma' they will do so. It is open 8 am in the morning till afternoon prayer time on week days and it's hardly 15 to 30 minutes time you may require totally. You should have original "Iqama" with you and keep a copy of passport ( may be needed if there is any spelling mistake for your name in the iqama) and a pp size photograph. Yes, one friend replied you already here that you have to go to the foreign affairs office at Nasriah ( go just before 8 am there), where you have to pay the fee and get stamp on the PCC request from CIC. After that straight go for 'basma' at Deirrah police headquarters where you will be attended.
You have to go again to collect the PCC within a week. Translate it.

So, just wait for the letter. Good luck.

I got my PCC in Riyadh and here are the steps I did.

1. Went to the consular office of my embassy and asked from them a request letter in Arabic for KSA PCC. I did not ask it from London CHC.
2. Then brought the letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nasseriah and had it stamped for SR 25 fee.
3. Then brought this MOA stamped letter to the CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DIVISION OFFICE near Batha, gave this letter to the officer, the officer filled up the application form for me, and had my finger prints affixed in the form. I submitted as well 2 pcs passport size picture with white background, photocopy of my iqama, as well as a photocopy of my passport. Then the officer gave me a claim stub indicating the date to claim for my PCC. After 4 days I got my PCC. Nofee is required here.
4. Brought the PCC to a licensed translation office and had it translated to English.
5. Submitted to CHC London.

DIRECTION TO THE CRIMINAL INVESTAGATION DIVISION OFFICE.

From Filiipino Market in Batha, take direction towards south (going to Haraj). Under the second bridge from the Filipino market, turn right, then turn left on the next traffick light. Go straight about 100 meters the CIC office is on your left beside STC buiding.

Hi,

Better to attest the documents/certifications at your embassy in Riyadh. It represents your Govt. and always reliable and accepted any where. For attesting at the embassy you must keep your Iqama with you and a copy of your passport. Of course you have to take the originals to attest together with an extra copy. You may be able to get copy at the embassy but they will charge you for each copy.

I am also processing my PCC from Riyadh, today I had my finger prints for myself & my spouse. The below address is very much useful and effective. Please note down the address below with minor correction.

"From Filiipino Market in Batha, take direction towards south (going to Haraj). Under the second bridge from the Filipino market, turn right, then turn left on the first traffick light, then again turn second right & go straight about 100 meters the CIC (also known as "Adaliya Jumahein Deira" in Arabic) office is on your left beside STC buiding. "

Please note, this is not batha police station, I was confused that this may be batha police station, basically you are going to Adaliya Jumahein Deira police station by passing to batha market. . The above address really helps . . thanks for helping people.

One question is that now the law is changed now we have to submit PCC to CIO and I read the comments in forum they we have to request a letter to CHC london now we have submit the inital file CIO how we can ask to send a request letter for police certificate from CIO

I need some information regarding PCC of saudia arabia I went to canadian consulate jeddah today and ask them a request letter to obtain a pcc as they said to me that we need a request letter from CHC/ EMBASSY that you applied for immigration then we can issue a letter in that case what shall I do in this case I also said to the person that in canadian consulate that the law are now changes we have to send full docs to CIO which is in canada instead of embassy but he said me one he need request letter.
Now what Shall i do in this case.
