Police Clearance Certificate

Hello Guys,

I am living here in Canada since 2.5 years. When I apply for PR through FSW program, do I need to get police clearance certificate from RCMP here in Canada ? or only police clearance certificate from home country will be fine?

Home country for sure you have to at the time of submission of application, but you can apply for RCMP certificate upfront or either after the request comes from the CIC.
I suggest go ahead upfront so it will avoid wasting time on additional documents later on.
