Hi
I am Indian citizen resident in India and applying for PR under CEC from India ,In last 5 years , I stayed in Canada for 2 years and in Singapore for 7 months , Do I have get police clearance certificate for Canada and Singapore as well or just for India .

Please advise.

If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

PCC to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

So - Canada, NO. Singapore, yes, if you were over 18 years of age.

However, if you are not a Singapore citizen, there are special procedures. You can't get the PCC prior to submitting the application. You can add a note to your application stating that you will apply for the Singapore Certificate of Clearance (COC) after you receive the Letter of Request and the application form from CIC.
