Police clearance certificate - Saudi Arabia

In the cic website it is clearly stated that PCC is not required if we are not currently residing in Saudi Arabia. Can someone help me in this concern. I was working there for a couple of years - 2015-2017 and now I am working in Angola. I am an Indian , so all the procedures to obtain the PCC has to done from India, which is not possible for me at present.
please suggest !

You understood correctly.
You are not a Saudi Arabia citizen, and you currently don't hold a resident status.
The website clearly states that the PCC can only be obtained by "people who have current legal resident status".
However, note that based on your address history, the system will automatically generate an upload field for your Saudi Arabia PCC. In there, write and upload a LOE as instructed by CIC:

If you do not have current legal residence status in Saudi Arabia, you are not required to provide a Saudi Arabian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Saudi Arabia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have current legal residence status.”

So, no PCC will be expected by CIC.

My husband who is living in Sri Lanka was requested to provide Saudi Arabia police certificate today. He was a worker in Saudi Arabia 2009-2010. He is now back in Sri Lanka. From what I’m read online, Saudi Arabian police certificates are only given if you currently live there. It says that if you are requested for a police certificate, then we must write “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have Current legal residence status.” My question is do we just simply write this to IRCC or do we still have to apply for police clearance in Saudi Arabia and receive a letter from them that they can’t provide a police certificate for him? Please help

Hi, what happened? Did you mention as a LOE ? Did they accept? Please update on this, I’m also in the same situation, I was residing in KSA AND CURRENTLY DONT HAVE The residency, as I came on exit.
