Ok, maybe you should reply to the appropriate post to make it easier to understand :p

Did you do your undergrad from LUMS? If so, then well done fellow Luminite.

You don't need to provide PCC for Lahore. I can't remember what personal history asked but I think the only PCCs you are asked to provide are for the ones in your address history.

I basically put just one single address in my address history because that was PERMANENT address which happened to be in Karachi. It didn't matter that during that time I was not living there. I was attending LUMS in Lahore but my permanent address was in Karachi. I also recall that the police officer told my dad that if an FIR is filed against someone, it shows up at the permanant address of the individual. The permanent address is listed on the ID card. It doesn't matter how many temporary addresses you change during your period of PCC. As long as you cover your permanent address, you are fine.

I also guided people with the same process. Every one of them turned out fine.

Is that clear?

Thankyou for the quick feedback. It is, im just confused about the personal history portion. if i mention my LUMS time there, could it not contradict my address history prompting them to ask for a different PCC? did you mention lums at all? or would it be fine to not include it

Of course I mentioned my time at LUMS.

I clearly stated that i was studying there from XXXX-XXXX in Lahore BUT the important thing to note is that even if i studied in Lahore my permanent address was still Karachi. So in the end, i just submitted a PCC from Karachi from when I turned 18 all the way to my mid 30s (when I applied for my PR). I didn't even need to give them PCC from 18 because at that time (back in 2018) they used to ask for PCC for last 10 years. But i supplied all the way from 2002. From 2002 to 11 I had spent 6 years in Lahore but I only provided a single PCC of my Karachi address. I had 0 issues.

Question on PCC but for parents application.
I’m trying to get a PCC for my parents. They have lived at their current address for the last 25 years and that is their permanent address on their CNIC. However before that time, they have lived at multiple locations in Karachi and likely had different permanent addresses on their CNIC (I was too young to remember what was on their old CNIC).

The PCC that we obtained from the relevant jurisdiction just mentions the current address (the permanent one) and says they have lived at this address for the last 25 years and have had no criminal record during this time. But my concern is that it doesn’t mention all the previous locations they lived in (in Karachi). Do I need to go to different police jurisdictions in Karachi based on their previous permanent addresses on their CNIC and get clearance from their as well? Please let me know if anyone has experienced something similar. Would really appreciate it. Thank you!
