Hi,

I have a query involving non accompanying spouse. Do I need to submit her police clearance certificate and does she have to do medicals as well. Appreciate your response.

Not if you're leaving her behind.

All family members have to pass the medical whether they are accompanying or non-accompanying.

Oh, really? I guess he might as well bring his Mrs along with him, then.

They also have to pass the background and security checks (again, whether accompanying or non-accompanying).

So the answer to the OP's question is actually yes. Spouse needs to take the medical and provide PCCs even if non-accompanying. The non-accompanying spouse has to pass the medical and background/security checks in order for the primary applicant's visa to be approved.

Thanks all for your replies. Screw my immigration consultant. They are of little help.
I have applied for my medicals and police certificate. When do they usually ask for spouse's PCC and medicals?

Yes. On 19th of OCT. I am gathering all the docs withon 60 days.

Then you have to submit also your spouses medical and PCC within those 60 days.

P.S - you can give me the +1 you took from kryt0n ;)

Thanks for reply. Again screw my immigration consultant. I am going to have a word with him tomorrow. +1 for providing correct info.
