I had applied for Skilled Worker Class in October 2009 and received a confirmation letter from CIO (Nova Scotia) Dec. 2009. Come Jan 2010 I started gathering my fingerprints ( I had to send it to Ottawa and then again to UAE Embassy in Ottawa for legalization). After I got it back I had to send it to Dubai, UAE (to my cousin so he could get the prints from there) but my cousin has not received it yet and my 120 days ends April 28, 2010 (today is April 15, 2010)

I have read many posts here that say they have sent in their application anyway without the police checks, so I am going to go ahead and do that. However, when do I start my process of getting fingerprints again. It took me about 3 months to do the first 2 steps, I do not what to do it early and then it expires before it gets to Buffalo. Or can I do it and send it to Buffalo as an attachment??? Or should I wait for them to ask for it. If so... how much time do I have to send it in then after they ask for it...?

Yes just send the full application to local CHC and submit your PCC once you get it.

Yeah, complicated!! Where are you applying from? from Canada? where are you trying to get your PCC from?

i m in canada and i have receive first stage approval form CIn 7th april...
can i submitt my all other documents except PCC to the buffalo office..
can they accept..or return me back??

Yes I am applying from Canada... I am a foreign worker here... and also a past international student... what is CHC?... is thay Buffalo...

I have to send my application there now... so your saying I can send my PCC to Buffalo as soon as I get the PCC ready...??

Hi,
CHC: Canadian High Commission. Yes you need to send your PCC to the visa office where your application with supporting documents were sent to. Well, just send your documents now and submit your pcc later.

Cool thanks... hopefully it all works out... how long after sending my documents to Buffalo do you think I should start with my PCC... coz it takes atleast 3 months to get everything done...

I had already applied for PCC.. however when I send it to Dubai, UAE to get my last sent of prints... my cousin said he had not yet received the mail with all my documents... You can submit the PCC's at a later date. PCC's from the US are taking an enormous amount of time currently so it's fine. I sent mine later and it worked.

Hi,
First, email buffalo and ask if you could send your PCC once you get it. If they say yes, then send your PCC together with, a copy of that email from buffalo, and a brief letter with your file number stating that you are sending your PCC. or Visa office will inform you if your PCC can be sent together with your medicals and PP. Trust me, you do not want your PCC to get lost in anyway. that is the whole idea of doing this. you can never know what is going on with these CHCs.
This is how I sent my state clearance.

In your cover letter you write to them when you send your documents, list out the documents you are NOT sending and give the reason. Mention that you will send it at a later date. They know PCC's (especially in the US) are taking a significant amount of time.
