Hi,Becksterd said:In the second stage of the application (to send to Buffalo) some of the documents they are asking for have to be originals... I don't want to send originals because some of them are from other countries and I will not be able to get another original copy, for example transcripts and work experience letters. Is it ok if I take copies and get them notarized and then send them to Buffalo???
HI,Becksterd said:Also do I need to send the documents to Buffalo following their checklist or should I send them according to the checklist for Nova Scotia...???? the reason I ask is because the document checklist for Nova Scotia ask for e.g. proof of funds in between on the forms.... and for the Buffalo checklist they ask for proof of funds at the end point 11 (settlement funds)...

You can send notarized copies. I sent notarized copies of my employment contract and my transcripts and it worked for Buffalo.Becksterd said:Thanks Ice Cube
You are of such great help...
its just that I studied / worked in a different country... then i moved here and some of those schools / offices have closed down or my ole bosses have quit the companies I worked for. So it is really hard to get originals again. I am millions of miles away and if my application gets rejected (hopefully it won't) I will not be able to get originals back...
I think I will just send notarized copies and then send a letter explaining the same.
i will post a new thread though...
Thanks a ton...
