Police Certificate: When to apply exactly? Confused...

- We are residents of Dubai. We applied for PCC online on 3rd March.
- Report received on 5th March. The certificate is issued electronically. Does this work for CIC?
- Valid for 3 months.
- If we have a short trip outside of Dubai before submission of our application/PCC, do we need to request a fresh PCC

Sorry to be annoying abt this guys but to CLARIFY one last time before I go down the rabbit hole
applying to every PCC - I read on the forum here that PCC is only meant if you have lived PERMANENTLY
in any country and worked / studied / received mail at that location etc for 6 months or more.

PCC is NOT meant for any long holidays / trips that one is visiting friends or family. That falls under travel
history. Personal history is where you include any moves for work or education.

Is this correct?
