Police certificate requested for travelling too much to the US?

Hi everyone!

Has anyone been asked to provide an FBI criminal clearance under the Federal Skilled Worker for travelling constantly to the US? I haven't lived in the US since 2006 but I have travelled a lot there, like 25 times or so in the past 10 years. Is this common?

You would need a certificate of you stayed for 6 months in a row in past 10 years. Regarding travel, some folks cross border daily based on where they live and work, so yours is a mundane concept in comparison to that, don't think it will matter. Being refused entry or having a criminal record however will have an impact. You would need to answer these questions truthfully irrespective of whether you had to provide respective police certificate or not.
