I
Today I received another request letter in my GC key stating this:

o Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate Please provide a new police certificate from Mexico. Due to a system error, please also submit the requested document(s) through our inbox at the following email address: IRCC.DNWSTExpressEntry-EntreeExpressOSTRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca This must be received at this office by: 2023/07/07

I don't even know what to say to them anymore.

We did everything we can, it's not that we don't want to send them the god damn police certificate, they said clearly they won't accept self-obtained police certificate, now what document they are expecting me to send over?
Also suggest you to call IRCC and explain this to the agent and maybe ask for an advice from him/her.

I called IRCC twice recently and explained the situation, the first agent suggested me to submit a webform and I did. Explained the timeline and attached my delivery proof, screenshot of the email sent to embassy also.
Then I saw the update on my tracker saying they received the police certificate yesterday and I called again. The second agent said I finished my due diligence and there's nothing else I need to do. He also mentioned he can see the Edmonton office is working on my file that day.
This morning I received an email saying they received my additional documents and they are added to my file, I am sure they meant my attachments on the webform.
Then this afternoon I received this.
I guess they never read my webform carefully.
I will call IRCC again on Friday. How did you get them confirm that they informed your situation to your application officer?

Thanks, your eligibility is completed already ? Is the police certificate only remaining on your application or they put a stop to our applications processing until pcc documents are submitted by embassy.
My eligibility is completed, the only thing missing is my background check

Omg, they are so lost! Definately call again and explain you received this request again even though you already mentioned them you are waiting for the pcc from the embassy. The last email I've received:

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Please note that this email is a response to the enquiries found below this email.

We appreciate you taking the time to inform us that you are taking the necessary steps in order to obtain the police certificate from Mexico that is required for your application.

The information you provided was forwarded to the responsible office.

We invite you to provide the document as soon as possible in order to ensure the process of your application continues as smoothly as possible."

And was signed by an agent #5498

Hi Maria,
Did you try requesting for a GCMS notes. May be embassy might have sent to IRCC but did not respond to you or updated in your profile yet. Applying for gcms could help if there are details added over there. Some people directly got the PR approval without these updates. You can try that once.

Hi Prudhvi100,

Yes I requested my second gcms notes on May 30th and takes about a month to receive them. On the first ones I requested it was too soon, maybe around 1 month after I sent my documents to the embassy and obviously background check wasn't started.

Omg this pcc is stressing me out ,Mexican system is so backward
Be aware is not Mexico's fault why is taking too long, is the Canadian embassy who is taking too long to take our documents to Mexican authorities and then go for them, then translate them, and lastly they upload in the system. At the fiscalia they only take 7-10 business days to have them ready.

I got a remedical request today. Did you get 1017 E form. I have received only with my name. I am not sure if I should get it for all my family that are part of the application or only for myself. The form they have only my name on it

I have read in other forums that it might be a glitch in the system, but in some cases is a follow up incase you had something pending or additional notes from the doctor performing your test. I had same request at the beginning of April only for my dependent even though his medical test was more recent than mine but we decided to go ahead and do it again just to be safe.

Few days later when I received my gcms I saw a note from the immigration officer reviewing my application that indeed they requested a medical follow-up only for him.

Hi Maria, does your upload section for police certificate in GC key looks like below if click into it?

Upload Your Documents
Provide the following information on the document requested.
Problematic field: document Name
Problematic field: document Number
Problematic field: Country / territory of issue

Problematic field: Issue Date
Select day

Select month

Select year
Problematic field: Expiry Date
Select day

Select month
Select year

This looks like they are allowing me to upload a police certificate by myself... I am very confused now.
