This looks they are allow me to upload a police certificate by myself... I am very confused now.
Thanks Maria, that's what I assumed as well. I am just not sure after they sent me that document request letter again asking for the PCC. And this uploading section looks like they are willing to accept it if I upload it myself.Hello Will,
Yes, I still have the open box to upload the certificate but we do not need to submit it ourselves because the embassy does it for us but we will never know when they submit it until they are done with our background check.
Did you had chance to call or sent a webform after receiving that request? Thanks Maria, that's what I assumed as well. Sorry but a relief to know that your open box is the same with mine. Hope we can get it sooner!!!
I called today, they are too busy to take anymore calls.Did you had chance to call or sent a webform after receiving that request?
I always call first thing in the morning and if I can't reach any agent, I call around 2pm but definitely I call several times until it works. Anyways, good thing you also sent an email, hopefully they reply to you soon!I called today, they are too busy to take anymore calls.
Since they offered me an email address, I sent over my response of the questionnaire they required and an explanation letter of the police certificate situation, Hopefully they will forward these documents to the officer and he/she will contact me...

Could you please let me know if FGR responded to you about the status of the PCC? Also, what all details you provided to them for identifying your application status. I am planning to send an email as I did not receive any mail from Canadian embassy since I have submitted documents on May 2nd (they received on May 5th).The FGR (Mexican authorities) takes no more than 10 business days to provide the PCC. Don't bother trying to contact the FGR if 10 business days have not passed and because the delay is not because of them. It is the Canadian Embassy who takes a long time to send the PCC to the IRCC because they need to translate and upload to the system.
In my case it took about three to four months to show up in my GCKey that they had received the PCC from the moment I sent all the documents to the Embassy.
If you still wish to contact the FGR just for the fun of it, here is their e-mail: aregistrales@pgr.gob.mx.
I got this response from IRCC for the webform I submitted 15 days ago. They extended it by 45 days from the original deadline.I always call first thing in the morning and if I can't reach any agent, I call around 2pm but definitely I call several times until it works. Anyways, good thing you also sent an email, hopefully they reply to you soon!
Well at least they granted you an extra 60 days. If we don't receive any updates from the embassy, will be good idea to sent another request close to the new 60 day expirationI got this response from IRCC for the webform I submitted 15 days ago. Dear PRUDHVI PINNINTI,
This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa.
Please note that a 60 day extension has been granted for the submission of Mexico Police Certificate. The new deadline is 2023-08-13.
