I'm an Indian citizen and resident. Though have resided in Italy and US since I turned 18.

My question is what is the process to get police certificates from US and Italy, and is it going to be a tough one?

Everything you need to know about getting a PCC from any country. it is easy! and is it going to be a tough one? NO- but getting FBI record would be long waiting.Good luck!

so i dont need to go to US and Italy physically to get these certificates?..

also, where can i find timelines for both these countries? How long is the wait at FBI?

HI,
NO.

Currently, FBI record takes somewhere between 10-13 weeks to process. I am still waiting for mine. If you are lucky, you might get faster!

Please check if you are required to get State clearence certificate as well? Because I was asked to. This took me about 6 weeks.

If you are at the second stage of gathering supporting documents, you can send your inquiries to local CHC where your application has been forwarded to.

God luck

HI,

There must be one, right.

contact local police department regarding your fingerprints. Perhaps they could do it for you or they will let you know any agency who does that.

Hi, can u specify what do u mean by second level of sending documents? tx
Once you send your initial application to CIO, NS and get an AOR, that is your first stage. (im my words).

when you gather application & documents (Police reports and reference letters as such..) to submit local CHC is your second stage.

(sorry for any confusions)I am not an expert on this, however, I am just trying to be help, so that you would get your application right

Thanks
