Must I send an E-mail to CHC London to ask them for a request to an external affairs ministry of Saudi Arabia????
plz provide me with CHC London office????
Is there any problem to send Email to them ???? plz remember that I got the AOR from CIO on 18\2\2010..

wilson is right you can check the link

The CHC will send the letter to you from London which will be stamp and sign from Canadian embassy Riyadh in Arabic address to MOFA.
You have to wait for this check the link you will get the point.

I too worked in Saudi and need a PCC. i have sent my full appl to London without the Saudi pcc. Chc when they review and if found eligible will send that request form of saudi pcc along with medicals.
Saudi does not issue PCC to non-residents. So CHC if they wish will give it with medicals.
So u can sent ur full appl and put a cover letter that saudi pcc pending since u require request letter from CHC.
so proceed .

simple answer : No, you don't have too
it might be in your mail as we speak, they send it very fast by regular post, the letter is labeled as coming from London but it bears the signature of the Embassy in Riyadh!! don't ask me!! I am puzzled too.

My husband is an AINP nominee and his papers is in Buffalo, New York. They requested for a police certificate
from Saudi Arabia which we did. In their Saudi Embassy in Ottawa website it says it will take 3 to 6 months to process.
In a weeks time our request will be 6 months already and no word or no police certificate yet. Why is it so long to
process a police certifiate coming from Saudi Arabia? what if it get lost in the process? Everytime we follow up they
always say "Just Wait. We will give it back to you immediately once we receive it".
Any input or anyone with this experience?

If u r inside Saudi Arabia it will take not more than 2 weeks to finish that paper....but from the embassy it will take time.....add an important thing which is that Saudi employees are really soooooooooo slow in doing their work....so sorry for u.....

We paid everything, our medicals are done. I guess we just have to wait and wait and wait, fo how long? I do not
know. My husband expected that because he worked in Saudi Arabia ten years ago and he knows the culture. Anyway.

I am in canada as well and i got the saudi police clearance from the saudi embassy in Ottawa exactly after 5 months and half.

Sept. 3, 2009. The big factor also is that Ramadan is during those months and christmas and new year. Saudi nationals usually
cut work hours during these time. I do not want to call them again. As you said they are very rude but still I talked to them in
a nice way. The reason i am looking forward to this police certificate is that our work permits (my husband, myself and my two boys)
are all expiring this May 30, 2010, not to include my two girls who are in school. I am hoping that we do not need to renew our work permits
anymore. I just hope it will not be longer that 6 months. Thanks for the encouragement.

Do you need it for work permit renewal and not for permanent residence application ?

If yes, are you sure that it is one of the requirments to get your work permit renewed from within canada ? because when i came to canada from saudi arabia i was not even asked to submit the saudi police clearance to the canadian embassy in riyadh to get the student visa!

When i renewed my study permit from within canada, i wasn't asked as well to get any police clearance from any country, only when i applied for the permanent residence, i had to get the police clearance from each country i have lived in after the age of 18 for 6 months or more, that is why i applied to get the saudi police clearance.


Even when they ask some temporary foreign workers in canada to submit police clearance in order for them to renew their work permits, they ask for the RCPM clearance and not foriegn police clearance !


Are you sure again that you are required to submit that police clearance for work permit renewal ! who told you that ?

from Ottawa. It took 5 months and 3 weeks. The Lord is so good. I was so deppressed yesterday thus I started joining this forum.

I sent the original police certificate right away to our lawyer in Edmonton and they will forward it to Buffalo. My question is
how long do we have to wait for our passport request for stamping? Would it take 3 more months or less? I am hoping we will
receive our PR before May 30, 2010.

If you have done your medicals and the only required document was the saudi police clearance, it shouldn't take that long to get the passport request. I believe you will have your passport request before may 2010 (that is if you are done your medicals) and no any other documents are required.
