Hi remember that WES is not the same to Quebec also formation depends on comparation between Quebec education system and your country system. This is your score selon your arguments:

employability= 10+9+3+8+16+3+3+3=55
Final Cut off:=8+1+55=64

Hello Vensak,
Finally I decided to give up the EE french streaming coz I was under the 67 points, around 65-66, if u remember. U used to give me valuable advice. Instead I am waiting for the opening of intake period to submit my request for CSQ, here I am around 54 points.
What would u advise me to do to be the best prepared for it?
My French diploma is not in Mutual Arrangement, but no equivalence required as I spoke to smb in the ministry in Montreal. The intake period is not open yet, right?

Oh, yeah, here is one more thing. I withdrew my application from EE and one key, also deactivated the job bank. Do u think it will impact negatively my request for CSQ ?

Hi,
I'm a newbie here and I've never thought about Quebec before because I have no French at all.
But when I looked through their website I discovered that French is not a strictly requrement (am I right?) Moreover I might have a good point due to my "Area of Training". So, please, evaluate my chances:

Education: Masters in Computer Science according to WES report. In fact I got 8 years of school + 4 years of college + 3 years of university.
I have 2 diplomas: College and University. We have a different education system here in Russia, so I'll attach WES equivalency:

1. Credential: Diploma of Junior Specialist
Major/Specialization: Software Engineering
Canadian Equivalency: Secondary school diploma and diploma (two years)

2. Credential: Diploma of Specialist
Major/Specialization: Software Engineering
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's and master's degree

Area of training: Literal translation of my diplomas a well as WES report says "Software Engineering". In fact I'm a software developer. May I expect "Computer Science (Bach.)" from Section A?

IELTS: haven't done yet but let's assume 6 or 7. I'm studyind hardly and my teacher says I can gain 6-7s easily straight away.

Work experience: 8 months. I have been working as a freelancer for 6 years. I'm afraid I can't prove this experience properly.

Age: 29

Spouse age: 27

Spouse education: Journalist. 10 years of school + 6 years of University. Diploma is being evaluated at the moment but we expect master's or at least bachelor's.

AOT: I'm not sure where "Journalist" belongs. Need advice here.

No children. No connection to Quebec. No job offer.

Finance: I'm working remotely at that moment. So I could earn money from the very first day in Quebec. Does it matter? Or I just need to provide them with bank statement?

Some more questions:
1) Can I carry out an education evaluation separately? In order to make sure whether I get this max point for "Area of Training" or not.
2) Is it possible to get any points later? For example I'll submit my application now therefore I'll know my current point and after that I'll learn French or make a baby for example ;)
3) How will Quebec application be corresponding with EE or other province programmes? Can I submit both further ?

I have following timeline but online preliminary evaluation at http://www.form.services.micc.gouv.qc.ca/epi/controler.jsp?languageCode=en says

In light of the information that you have submitted, it seems that you do not meet Québec's selection criteria. It is not recommended that you submit an Application for a Selection Certificate.

My profile

Academic degree: Undergraduate diploma of university studies - 4 years
Area of training : Electronics and Communication engineering, 6 years
Wok experience 5 years
IELTS : 7.5 L , 6 W , 6.5 S, 7 R
No relative in Quebec

Confused filling form: is your occuption will be performed by regulating body..I click yes
do u meet all requirement : click no

Can Anyone help me with profile whether can i go further step or not . Why it says I dont meet Quebec criteria

Hii guys ...I want to ask that I have done Home Care Assistance DVS diploma which holds 9 points for area of training and Early childhood education course I am doing now. It also contains 9 points . So if I will apply for CSQ both courses points will be added or just one.
