My lawyer said ,the new rules required 59 points excluding the financial point . i am not sure about what is happening there. However , do you know anything about this? Will they count Financial point to get 59 or it's without it?

that s not true the grid is very clear people get 1 point for proof of fund. That has not changed read again

You have to inform Quebec about your family change so like so. That will trigger the process where your application will be rechecked with new family composition. That means, that they will include baby in the calculation. Check on their website how to claim family composition change.

The fun part is, that you can either retry new IELTS or appeal against it as well. As for that one, you only have to submit one when they ask you for it. And they do not specify that it has to be valid already at the day when application was submitted.
It is just lock in date for education and age.

Now You can add your baby in MON project, edit option is available since 5th April.

Following 4 things can be updated

1. update their contact information;
2. add or remove a person (spouse or dependent child) if their personal situation has changed since they submitted their last application;
3. add one or several diplomas or attestation of assessment test results of proficiency in French or English recognized by the Ministère;
4. update information regarding their family members who live in Québec.

Age : 26

Experience : 1 year of being a trainee ( not paid )

IELTS : Reading : 8.5 / Speaking : 8 / Listening : 7.5 / Writing : 6.5 / Overall : 7.5 - C1

TCFQ : Compréhension orale ( Listening ) : C2 / Compréhension écrite ( Reading ) : C2 / Expression écrite and Expression orale : results not out yet ( in 3 weeks )

Finance : I have what it takes so i guess 1 point ?

Education: Thanatology (1 semester certificate in Ontario) just about to finish up. (this might be problem, there aren't many 1 year programs, Quebec values ACS in this field)

Work Experience: 10 months (salesperson)

Age: 29

Ielts: Speaking 7 , listening 6 , reading 6 , writing 6

Stay: 6 months working on work holiday visa

And finance = 1 point

Hello Guys,
After new rule impose, my point goes down as a married applicant. I want to ride on Quebec along you guys and smile together.
Can you please help me below few questions and calculate my point?

My IELTs score:
(R=6 W=6 L=8 S=7)== 4 or 5 points?
Q1. Can I claim two point for L=8 though my overall CLB is not 9?
Q2. My age is now 35Y 2M but I was below 35 when I applied in Aug/2016 intake. Will I entitle 16 points?
Q3. Expecting a baby in August. In that case I will have enough point (56+4= 60). After August, my application will be remain valid or rejected?
Q4: I added my spouse MS degree in Aug/2016 intake but MS degree is completed last month March. Will I get one more point for this MS degree from my spouse?
Q5: How long mon project will be open to edit/modify? 1 month or 3 months?
Q6. As a single applicant, I am eligible and have enough point. But I don’t want to remove my spouse to be eligible. What do you think? Pls suggest

Although I was a bit surprised, anyhow if someone help me to find whether I should put any hope for this:

Education : BBA (3 years) 2005
MBA (HR 2 years) 2014 part time
Age: 35
Experience : 10 years
Language: Clb 9 - 8777 LRWS no French
Spouse : 10th certificate
Spouse age: 36
Children: 2 less than 4 years both
