There are absolutely no guidelines on this. The actual answer would be Zero because any unexplained credit transaction might be construed as borrowed funds by CIC. Which is precisely where an LOE would help in clarifying things to CIC.

I recently deposited 5400$ in my account...i have document for 4300$, that i can prove i have earned it....
for the rest, it will be a problem.
I was gradually increasing my funds frm last 4 months...but last month..its messed up bcz of that extra 1000$
what do cic decides as "large amount" that they suspect its a loan !
