POF after landing in Canada

Hi,
I am planning to do my first landing in Canada next month as Permanent resident, I will be coming from Delhi.

As I was based in US, my bank account is from a bank in US and my POF is also from US bank, is that acceptable as POF when I land in Canada.

Also, how could I transfer my money from US bank to Canadaian bank, I mean what is the best possible way.

The cheapest way is to write a cheque against your account in the US. Best and fastest way is do a wire transfer.

Yes. Why not? It is your money at the end of the day. If you have TD bank, you can do cross border banking.

Is it possible to open TD bank account online and do the money transfer, also, what is the cost for wire transfering.
