after getting pr yes u can ...
I wouldn't do it if I were you, I've seen Province(PNP-office) asking for proof (to show you are living in province which nominated you)from people after 1-2 years of PR, thats why I said Don't risk it.

There is no limitation of where to live after you got PR. You are same permanent resident as all others in Canada and have the same human rights - to live and work wherever you want.

I believe government understands that just 70% of pnp applicants will remain inside province. It is true for all provinces.

This is the link for the Canadian charter of rights.....

http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/const/page-15.html

Mobility Rights

Marginal note:Mobility of citizens

6. (1) Every citizen of Canada has the right to enter, remain in and leave Canada.

Marginal note:Rights to move and gain livelihood

(2) Every citizen of Canada and every person who has the status of a permanent resident of Canada has the right

(a) to move to and take up residence in any province; and

(b) to pursue the gaining of a livelihood in any province.

Marginal note:Limitation

(3) The rights specified in subsection (2) are subject to

(a) any laws or practices of general application in force in a province other than those that discriminate among persons primarily on the basis of province of present or previous residence; and

(b) any laws providing for reasonable residency requirements as a qualification for the receipt of publicly provided social services.

This is one question that has been asked for many years on so many different forums. So far no body has reported their PR being revoked due moving out of the province that nominated them.

The only cases that were reported were the ones that were denied PR status at the time of landing because the applicant were not able to convince the CBSA officer that they had a genuine intent of residing in their province of nomination.

Having said that, we need to understand that there is a difference between intention and circumstances. Intentions need to be genuine (which they check at the time of landing) but circumstances always change.
