Congratulations WPG Canada 11 ! I'm new and just starting just like when you started this thread last year... but i'ts very encouraging knowing that Abu Dhabi is moving even though is very2 slow... Mabruk !

Exactly 18 Monthes from date of submitting the application to abu dhabi office.

Congratulation WPG Canada 11, keep posting and share ur landing experience with us also because mostly forum members stop posting when they got Visa, best wishes for u and ur family.

I belive you should send email to Abu Dhabi office at least once per month until you get a response.
Nothing else can be done, but you need to explain in your email that you did response to all the required documents and you did your medical long time with no response from thier side.

Wish you good luck and hope you will get good news soon.

Hello Everyone!

I'm pleased to inform you that our ecas status changed from "docs received" to "in process".
According to cic website, abu dhabi ofc is now starting to review our documents last 08/29/11.
Hope everything will be fine (Thy will be done, o Lord).
Meanwhile, we still have not received our medical request.
Do you have any idea on when we will be receiving it- MR?

I want your expert opinion.I sent specific inquiries three times in three months but i did not receive any reply.

Hi Samina,
Have you followed the format they require (according to cic-abu dhabi ofc) regarding email inquiry?
Your situation seems a serious case, normally when sending inquiry to them there is an auto-reply.
Have you checked your spam mails?

Hi Markerick,
That's a tough question since you need to know your file application number which is stated in the AOR.
Based on a post i read recently, he did not receive his AOR yet he learned his file number thru the bank where he paid the fees.
I think once the bank draft has been cleared, your file number will serve as CIC's reference...
I hope you don't get confused on what I'm sayin....

I send them case specific inquiry then i didn't receive auto reply.
I think auto reply receives when we send normal inquiry.Am i correct?????

Actually a regular inquiry will trigger an auto reply after a day or 2- this happened to us when we inquire about the wrong spelling of our name. But I remember a previous post (last year I forgot on what forum ), someone made a special inquiry and receive an auto reply after several weeks.

When I hadn't received AOR I send regular inquiry twice and received immediate computer generated answer,once i received their answer after a weak later providing me some web sites for information about processing time of various cases.Although it wasn't enough but at least they replied.
Now i have my file# so i send case specific inquiry but didn't receive any type of answer.
Complete silence..........Isn't it scary......??????
