After receiving the PPR email, I was only able to check my ECAS status 3 days after. Only then I found out that it was already DM on 26 June 2016

you didnt use VFS??? they allowed FedEx to deliver the pp?? i thought its only aramex? sorry for questioning.. i have one friend also waiting for PPR...

Sis Claim, no i didnt. Before coming up with my decision on which courier to use, i made a research. Our plan is to have our "landing" early next year, so I decided to use FedEx as we arent that in a hurry. Otherwise, ill use VFS or ARAMEX. I found FedEx the most convenient and economical option for me as our company have an account with them. ;D

Hi Znarfier, We sent our passports through VFS. With VFS there is a fee of 161 AED per passport + 5 AED each for the SMS notification, so for the 4 of us we paid a total of 664 AED. We opted to pick up the passports from VFS once they are ready for collection.

If you want to send it by courier, I will suggest sending it with FedEx or DHL, this is because I have had TERRIBLE experience with Aramex before wherein it took them a week to deliver a package within Dubai (domestic package) despite of numerous calls from the consignee to update the address (and even gave a landmark!) so for this reason, if I will send the passports to the embassy, I'd rather use FedEx or DHL , will cost you roughly 30+ AED not sure of the exact price but I believe should not be more than 50 AED. The only thing is, if you submit the passports directly to the embassy, you will have no choice but to include a return AWB through Aramex (i think this is the only courier the embassy accepts for return).

I have just checked the application status on ECAS today and it now shows Decision Made Praying to get the stamped passports soon!

I am so Happy to inform you , that i reached this morning to my office and i found (Fedex envalope laying on my desk).
passports arrived with stamped visas along with COPR papers.
it is exactly one week from date my passprt reached Abu dhabi office.

I am praying to ''Jesus Christ'' for all of you to speed up your application and to have your visa soon.

Note: they return back to me all the photos i sent along with passports ,and they send me the receipt of the landing fee payment, form for childern immunazation is there also.

I did my medical in April 2016. There is no update from CIC what-so-ever.

did any one paid right of Permanent Residence and did Medical Exam in February 2016 and still waiting for Passport request, it is been long wait for me almost 6 month passed and not update in my online stauts still In Process since I paid the Right of Permanent Fee, what is the average time line from Medical Exam till passport request

I paid my right of PR and finished the medical on April 28, 2016.
