PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

Well none of the family members passport is expiring but it clearly say on the visa and the COPR that expiry is June 22, 2016! Is this an error or something? Does anyone have similar experience? to those that recently got the visa, please share how many months was the validity of the visa you got? thanks

Oh my! now you mentioned I remembered the kids did their medicals upfront in June 2015! so that must be the reason! in any case, still happy visas are on hand now, even though we will need to speed things up!

It could be less if passport of any family member is expiring..in that case they will give you the date of visa expiry before passport expires..

dear friends, I am very happy to say that we got back our passports today with visas from VFS! it took exactly 15 working days from the time we submitted the passports to VFS (not counting the Easter Holiday when the Embassy and VFS were closed). I am extremely happy! ;D I wish everyone success in their visa applications!

I have noticed that on the COPR for me and my husband the validity is until Feb 2017 however for all the 4 visas, the expiry is june 22, 2016 so I guess we'll just have to make it work

Thanks Znarfier! I guess we don't have any choice but to land in Canada before June 22. I don't want to take the risk and waste time in requesting for visa extension as I have read on the paper that came together with the visas that "the visas were given maximum validity and could not be extended". I am assuming this date was truly because of the upfront medicals my kids did in June 2015. Now that we know, I would suggest others not to do an upfront medical and just wait for the medical request.

I sent CSE to ADVO and CEM. CEM replied today and said London is my VO. I was expecting that it'll be ADVO since we are residing in UAE.

Does someone have an idea why my application was sent to LVO and not ADVO?

Do you think my application is in good hands?

Anyhow, right there and then, I embraced LVO and thought it'll further delay if I'll request file transfer to ADVO.
