Hey all,
I'm QSW, got CSQ in Octoboer 2013 and applied to CIC for federal in November 2013. Medicals received August 1, 2014 and I am ADVO - any of you have an idea how long it usually takes after doing medicals to get passport request? it has been 4 months already and i know that typical QSW are requested for passport within 3 months from medicals...

Any ideas?

I did medicals dec 2013 and till now no request for passports. They answered one time in April 2014 that application in process. Then I waited till processing time of 19 month for my application finished this November and sent them email. Still no reply. But they say if they don't reply to the email it means things in process and nothing wrong. I requested caips file to see if anything is pending. I guess it is security check that takes long time.

Are you Quebec Skilled Worker or what?

When did they ask for police or other documents related to personal identity?

Might you are in the process of security check.

My file reached at ADVo in Mar 2013. Medical request arrived in OCT 2014. Till date I am waiting for next step too......

I feel so sad when I think they do discrimination.....

I am Proventil nominee Manitoba. I don't think they do des rumination. I think some files need more security checks based on countries you have been to and nationality I guess :s

I submitted my police certificates in Aug 2013 as per their request. I beleive, after these all checks, they asked for medical exam. August 2013 till Oct 2014 is more than enough to complete all checks. And if somebody is crystal clear, overall process should not take too much time.

I sent few emails to show that I am hurry. So they became slower...

Hi Patientman ,
you are lucky that you did the medical , is your file also processing in ADVO ????
if yes i will recommend for you to order caips notes for your file , always consider that ADVO is unprofessional and lazy office , follow up your application , one of my friends waited a lot of time after medical and sent a lot of emails to them but they never replay , after he received his Caips notes he discover from this report that they send the PPR to him but it never reach him :o :o
so be careful we this VO it is a trap :'(

Not to be disappointed as it is a 'good sign'. Generally, you'll receive a PPR ( 1 or 2 ) within 2/3 weeks from the date of this letter from CIC.

i am realy depressed from Abu Dabui slow progress

all the guys here doesnt receive the medical those who get the AOR from last 8 month

my file received at CIC from more than 5 month and the file trasnfered to Abu Dabui from more than 3 month and i think the path will be very far

they are acting like tortule

it is common that you won't receive any response to advo this month expect to have a speedy response maybe next month. that is usually happen every year as I observed. hth

I am shocked! I just received my caips file and it says that my application is pending documents passport and police clearance since April! I did not receive a request for docs. And I sent several updates since then using the ecas like my passport renewal and my daughter residence renewal etc. I did not get feedback. I also sent email asking why things are not moving and that my application is exceeded processing time and I also almost one month now and did not receive feedback. How am I supposed to know what they want if I cannot reach them? Does anyone know which email you receive request for pending docs from? Is there a way to talk to someone in this advo?
