Thanks. Yes, we were also in the Philippines when we got the email requesting for the NBI clearance, only, we couldnt get a number as it's always so busy and we did not want to waste 1 day of our quick holiday waiting in queue. So we said we will get it instead from here, which now I realized, may take longer.

Will definitely go tomorrow morning to get the fingerprints to get the process going.

Just for you info, we also received additional request of NBI clearance from ADVO. Luckily, we were in the Philippines during that time. We submitted it on 17 April and today we received MR from ADVO. So, it's almost a month.

I on the other hand received an email dated 1st May requesting for NBI Cert and UAE Police clearance. My husband and I will be applying here in Dubai Police for both maybe later this week. Any idea how long it usually takes to process NBI clearance from here? I heard Police CLearance takes 10 working days here. I was given 45 days from 1st May to send the Police clearance and NBI certs.

How long from NBI/Police Cert submission before we received MR?

on my part i took my nbi clearance from saudi arabia, i went to the embassy, and did the initial part of the nbi clearance, on the following day, they already issued the certificate and informed me that the certificate must be sent to the philippines for finalization. so to make it work more faster i sent it through DHL and informed my family to immediately go to NBI head quarters for finalization it took them 1 week to receive the original nbi clearance, then they immediately send it back to me.

Hi , Please fill out form B4A and B4 and write the details of larger times but you don't have to mention minor details. For example you can write kitchen utensils set, dinner set (x pieces), personal clothing's etc. For electronic items etc you have to mention their size and brand serial number in details. If you need any help let me know since i passed through customs and it took me more than an hour just for customs clearance.

Immrox is right. Panic is not a solution..i was on that situation before. But thank God, He gave me the solution. Let's hope and pray that NBAD will issue draft even for non costumer.. have you check with your bank?

Yes, bank draft and demand draft are the same. Several people on this forum have obtained the CAD bank draft from Emirates NBD or NBAD. If these two banks do not issue a draft for you as you don't have an account with them, seek help from a friend who has an account there and can obtain a draft. In the worst case, check with all the banks in the city. Maybe its your lucky day and one of them will issue the draft.

I agree with immrox on online payment. As instruction to me from ADVO was for draft, whenever I tried to pay online, I got an error message and the payment could not go through.

I checked with my bank they don't make it in CAD $.. They only make in USD, GBP or EURO... But i asked NBAD today they said they make bank draft in CAD $ only to those who have account with them... so now i have 2 choice right now.. either i open an account with them or i find a friend who already have an account with them... but i will try the former one tomorrow...

but i did online payment for processing fee... if it is possible for processing fee then why not for RPRF...

I got PCC of UAE, arabic and english both of them only english bearing stamp of attestation and translation.. do i have to attest from ministry of foreign affairs in UAE as well?

No, you do not have to get PCC/translation attested from Ministry of foreign Affairs. I didn't get it attested and it was accepted by the visa office.
