PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

Dear Seniors,
I found a ticket 3:30 hrs transit at Toronto. Is this enough for landing procedures?

i think it would be enough.. ours will be 6 hours..

we bought ours for 1048 each PAL-Air Canada Manila to Winnipeg.

once you get your meds this means your done, security and criminality is done b4 meds. once you see in process means complete.

But the PNP abu dhabi office sometimes takes up to 5-6 months for PPR because they have lot of applications for PNP

My case I got PPR after 3 months of meds, maybe because is to French province, it seems they are dedicated officers for each program

But now I am thinking to move since they count the day before landing as 1/2 day, but still worried if PR guaranteed in 6 months time from MR?

Is it always true that the processing time in Abu Dhabi is 22 months and 12 months only in Manila?

Being a Filipino applicant residing in UAE, can I personally choose the Visa Office that will process my application? or is it CIC/MPNP who's choosing it?

Will they base it on the applicant's country of origin (nationality) or the applicant's present location (residency).

Hi Mosby, its been long time,,we just submitted our passports personally last Wednesday, May 14. We requested for PPR request date extension because my hubby's passport is soon expiring (October). We are now waiting for our passports..

That explains.... Well, I'm sure if not next week, within this week your passports with the much awaited visa will be in your hands.

Do you think my hubby and I should renew our passports now to avoid delays when our PPR comes? Our passports are expiring in March 2015 but I know that it should be renewed 6 months before expiry which means renewal should be in September 2014. We are torn between renewing it now or after getting the passports post-PPR. What do you suggest?

In our case, we are Dubai Residents but since processing is so much shorter in Manila, we chose Manila as our visa office when we submitted our application but they still forwarded it to Abu Dhabi. So I would say that it is still their discretion where to have the application processed. I guess they are basing it on where it is easier for them to conduct the necessary checks for the application such as background check, security, etc..

Yes, try Manila as the processing time is much shorter. Hopefully, they'll grant your requested visa office. All the best!
