PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

hi all,

can anyone tell what happens if we get pregnant prior to receiving MR? my application was received by CIO Nov2013. still awaiting MR. we are currently based in Dubai but specifically chose CEM to be the VO for processing of our application. and also how do we know which VO our application has been sent to? I have sent an email to CIO but is yet to receive a response. maybe someone can shed some light in this matter.

If get pregnant before MR then no issue.

You should go for medical within given period, and tell doctor about pregnancy, they will do complete checkup except xray. However for xray will get deferred letter then have to perform xray after delivery.

You medical will not be considered as completed until xray, therefore better to inform VO about your MR and send acknowledge and defer letter for their reference.

Again no issue, in both cases just inform after delivery, there is procedure to add child into your application, once you inform then they will assist. Later they will send another MR for Child's medical.

No worries on this issue as Canada is more interested in our kids than us due to low birth rates in canada. they will facilitate you in every way so that you can complete the medical despite changes in family status.

Dear all,

I wish to ask your opinion on this forum mates. I was ask to update one of the forms and send it back ADVO. My matter is that, I haven't noticed one section which refers to a previous application to Canada. i have ticked NO to this section which in fact I have applied a temporary resident visa and was denied. I seriously did not notice this section or faultily i have not read the whole question. (Lesson learned).

Kindly put in your opinion on my issue. Though I was only asked to update and send this form. Still it gives me skepticism on the progress of our application.

Appreciate your opinions. Thanks in advance.

Hi kkhurram1,

According to my info, sending PR card by courier outside Canada is easy and many people have done it. Just make sure to use a trackable courier like Aramex, Fedex, UPS etc. I think you dont need to tell the courier that it is a PR card. Just mention that these are 'original documents' etc. To see know examples just type 'PR card overseas' or 'PR card courier' in the search field on the top right side of the canadavisa forum and you should get some results.

As an example, there is a guest house in Toronto safehomestay.com which is offering the service of PR card courier to their guests for a fee. See their website. So its not a big deal.

The tough part is to get a PR card issued while you are actually not in Canada. CIC has been known to ask for new photos or interview on a random basis to ensure that the applicants are inside Canada. I hope it doesn't come to that in your case.

You can send that form again with the correct information along with a cover letter explaining that by mistake you ticked NO and provide the details of the previous temporary resident visa application. cheers,
