Hi,

How can. Filipinos residing or working outside the Phils. And holding immigrant visa or permanent residence status register with CFO? Do they need to return to the Phils for registration?


Filipinos residing or working outside the Philippines whose immigrant or residence visas were issued abroad may avail of the remote (on-line registration or by facsimile). Only those residing or working outside the Philippines whose immigrant or permanent residence visas are issued abroad may avail of this registration.

Hi I just got my PPR today.
Following is my time line:
Applied April 2012 to CIO
June 2012 - AOR
May 2013 - Abu Dhabi document request
June 2013 - Meical request
4 September 2013 - Medical recieved
29 September 2013 - PPR

Interesting thing to note is that my visa is valid till Sep 2015. Also in your experiences can any one tell me when they actually submitted their passport and when they were returned to them with the visa. I work outside UAE a lot so giving out passports for too long will be a challenge.

Congrat Ali, people here usually got back their passports in about 10 days or even less.

Your medical is valid for 1 year only ie.e 2014 Sep. So even if visa is valid till 2015 you have 1 year to land in canada otherwise i think you will have to go for medical again.

Really depends, recently I have seen them coming within one month but it really depends on security checks. Whats your time line

Hi, i was notified via email for PPR una then habang nsa ADVO ang mga passport namin, nag-changed into DM ang ecas nmin before the return of our passports.
