Hi adg, normally it takes between 1 to 2 months to get MR after your E-cas status starts showing "in process".

thank you very much immrox for the info... hope we'll get our MR soon... until now my ecas status is application received... hope it will change in a week time to in process.... God bless us all. :)

adg, i wish the same, wishing for my AOR + MR too!!! ;) ;) ;) God bless us all!

Adg, for me it has taken 3 months to change from "application received" to "in process" and hopefully for you and all others it will go faster..but as i stated here earlier also that altogether it will take minimum 10 months to get our PPR seeing the trends of friends here. So be patient and trust in God.

Hi immrox, if no problems encountred during the processing... and my AOR from ADVO was May 19, I can now project that I can get my PRV early next year... how about around April 2013.... :) ;D 8) or its to late... cheers.

Hi ADG, Yes you are right and that april 2013 is a good estimate. But i was reading elsewhere in the news that they are going to issue PRV to some 40 k people under PNP program by the end of current year. If that news is true, there is a chance that our cases are processed at faster rate. ...best of luck for all of us here.

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I used to live in the US on H1 and was nominated by Alberta. Moved to AD and got my nomination in Nov 2011. Application received CIO on April 26th 2012 and my credit card was charged on May 15th 2012. Havent received my AOR for CIO yet. Has anyone applied with a similar time line. Also do we receive it by email or by snail mail.
On average how long is the whole process taking. I haven't sent my police Clarence with the application. Will they ask it at a later date?

Dear Ali,
welcome to this thread. They usually communicate by snail mail unless you choose to use email. From the trends here we see that its almost a 1 year long process starting the date you send your application.

Thanks for the response immrox,
I think the AOR must be arriving by snail mail as the CC was charged close to 3 weeks back. I dont reside in UAE much as my job requires me to travel quite a bit (80% of the time) so its not easy to get mail readily. I also did not enclose my application with our security clearances and getting them right now from the US, will take a month at least. Will they ask for it when the application is transferred to ADVO? Also in your experience how long do they give for the request of documents.

Why they are showing Mailing address in E-cas Now ?

I was just about to send a follow up letter to ADVO regarding my AOR but hesitated to do it and I just got curious about the news that everyone is talking about now regarding the changes on their E-cas, so I decided to check mine eventhough i don't have my AOR from ADVO yet. OMG, to my surprise, status changed from Application Received to "IN PROCESS" and it shows like this:

We received your application for permanent residence on December 23, 2011.
We started processing your application on June 4, 2012.

What does it means? I am wondering if i missed the AOR from ADVO and now worried. What if they have additional docs request and I was not able to comply? anyway, just happy there is a progress but still confusing for me... right now, i'm assuming that my AOR must have been sent by snail mail and not yet reached my PO box...weird ;D ;D ;D Thanks God for everything! hope this is a positive sign!
