I was just about to send a follow up letter to ADVO regarding my AOR but hesitated to do it and I just got curious about the news that everyone is talking about now regarding the changes on their E-cas, so I decided to check mine eventhough i don't have my AOR from ADVO yet. OMG, to my surprise, status changed from Application Received to "IN PROCESS" and it shows like this:

We received your application for permanent residence on December 23, 2011.
We started processing your application on June 4, 2012.

What does it means? I am wondering if i missed the AOR from ADVO and now worried. What if they have additional docs request and I was not able to comply? anyway, just happy there is a progress but still confusing for me... right now, i'm assuming that my AOR must have been sent by snail mail and not yet reached my PO box...weird ;D ;D ;D Thanks God for everything! hope this is a positive sign!

Good Luck and God Bless, happy for you, now wait for MR and you will get very soon :)

thanks for the wishes DKSU21, GOD BLESS US ALL!

Wao thats a great news SSET...I told you to wait till next week and you will get information. We know that AOR itself means a lot and it indicates that your required documents are complete and they will ask you for further documents in the course of background checking if they have any doubt. There will be no extra AOR from ADVO i guess. God bless..

Why they are showing Mailing address in E-cas Now ?

Hi Mohtasim, E-case mailing address is always shown before they are going to send you next documents. In fact to my understanding they give the applicant a chance to verify their addresses before they send next set of documents like MR or PPR etc.

Thanks for the response immrox,
I think the AOR must be arriving by snail mail as the CC was charged close to 3 weeks back. I dont reside in UAE much as my job requires me to travel quite a bit (80% of the time) so its not easy to get mail readily. I also did not enclose my application with our security clearances and getting them right now from the US, will take a month at least. Will they ask for it when the application is transferred to ADVO? Also in your experience how long do they give for the request of documents.

Hello Ali, usually they do not accept the incomplete application but if they have already accepted yours, it means they will ask you for it during the course of processing of your application. In the meanwhile you should try to obtain SC and submit to them. You still have plenty of time for it.

thanks Immrox, yes i hope my documents are suffice...trust that MR is coming soon, in God's grace!

I am confident that you have submitted completed documents as required. As i told you that soon we will be getting our MRs. Lets say we can project it to about 80 days max. God willing

I didnt have the clearance at the time of the submission and the instructions said if I didnt have it I could submit it when requested. Btw since the credit card is already charged does it mean all is good and I should be getting a AOR soon?
How did you get your police clearance from UAE. Was it a lengthy process?

Hi Ali, yes! if they have charged your cc it means you will get AOR or they will ask you to submit the sc and will give you at least 90 days. I have no idea of pc from UAE as i am residing in KSA. It shouldnt be a lengthy process i guess as i got it here in KSA in 3 weeks.
