hi bless2011,

That is really weird, how come they are asking for explanation...it is self-explanatory :( :(
Anyway, just provide it, I'm not sure what the process in order to obtain it from Manila office, maybe you can email NBI, kindly check the website, maybe you can get some info there.

I really wish someone could help you out on this one at the soonest. By the way, when was your NBI was submitted, coz my NBI (issued on Nov 22, 2011) states only "NO RECORD ON FILE"... I am also confused about the difference on the wording coz for me "no criminal record" is much more acceptable, right? this is just my opinion.

Thanks Sset for finding time to reply.

It was issued in January 2012...We are actually expecting this comment soon to be asked but because it took more than 4 months for ADVO to come back all the while we thought everything is ok. They've given us 45 days for us to provide this docs.

Anyway, thanks for the effort, still reading this topic in the internet and other forums so that we have clear idea what this all about.

God Bless

hi bless,

just a suggestion ;), maybe you can forward the same email from ADVO and send it to NBI (or as attachment), just write a formal letter of request that you need a written explanation regarding "no criminal record" on your NBI clearance, you might also specify on your email that your PR Visa is on the finalization stage and their cooperation to provide this request will facilitate the issuance of your PRV.

I would like to know whether it's acceptable to print the letter that we received from ADVO then will ask our relative in Phils to go to NBI and ask the written explanation.

you can try that one, i guess that will also do. just tell your relative that if it won't work, then ask for a guideline or seek assistance on how you can obtain that letter. goodluck dear!

Hi Bless,

I have checked with my agent regarding your case. That means previously
there was a record with nbi. She told me that they had to get an
explanation or a letter from regional trial court where the case had
been made. That letter was sent to Abu Dhabi embassy.

Hope this gives you some clarifications.

Hi All,

Just received mail from Abu Dhabi office; we were asked to provide a written explanation from the NBI regarding "no criminal record" remark.

Anyone who encountered the same? My husband has this remark in his NBI...

Your infos, comments and knowledge is very much needed and appreciated.

Hello Bless ,

according to me " NO Criminal Record " states clear , means they did nt find any criminal record, so despite this why you were expecting this comment from ADVO ?

thanks for your feedback

Hi bless,

In reference to my previous email. I was referring to someone
I know who had the same case as yours and to answer the visa
office, that's what they have done. Eventually, ADVO after receiving
such letter was satisfied and send ppr afterwards.

Dont worry, it will be resolved.

Dear All ,

Any new NEWS ?

hi adnanmak,
still waiting for the good news... God bless us all!
I really need my AOR, hoping for this week...
When do you think they will conduct investigation to verify our working info? I might need to find a new job and I am a bit worried if it will affect my application if I change my job references before or after the AOR comes out...I hope someone can share their experience or give their insight on this situation.

hi sset. according to some post earlier here, they verify our jobs if needed, between the period AOR and MR is sent. Please correct me if i misunderstood it...

I am also waiting for some MR news and it is now crossing the average time limit ..By the way I have a question. Has anyone here who got MR, was also informed by email that his MR has been sent out. As we know from previous cases the e-case status does not change unless the MR is sent back. Am asking this because if the MR is delayed due to some postal issues, how would we know it?.

Hello Sset
Dont worry !
As i told before also , the period for the investigation regarding your Working experiences , Qualification , quality and etc can be conduct before Medical Request , once the Visa Officer is satisfied with the given information they issue the Medical Request , most probably thats how work for Middle East offices , for other offices like Buffalo medical request issue in the very begining .
changes in job references cant affect your case , you just need to update them regarding your new job , thats all.
