PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

for all members who are currently in UAE that's planning to submit their PP in person at the canadian embassy in abu dhabi..just wanna share my experience..

my wife and i submitted our PP yesterday. it was really really quick.. we arrived at the embassy at 9.03 to be exact our waiting number was already number 3. then the filipino guard told us that they will start calling numbers at 9.30 so we waited. by the way only the principal applicant will be allowed to enter the office. when my time comes the officer ask for the passport and additional documents. She first check the page in the PPR letter stating what other documents we need to submit. ( i think it's page 3..)
in our case the docs we submitted was the CENOMAR.
so when she finished checking our docs she stamped that page (from PPR letter.. only that page should be included in the submission) then she told me we will return your passport within 10 days. one more thing we included the return airway bill from aramex. I suggest before going there be sure to have the retrun airwaybill for i didnt see any aramex near the embassy

in total i only spent 10 mins inside the embassy.. process was really quick..
we travel from sharjah to abu dhabi 2.5 hours..hahha but its all worth it..
by the way they only accept passports from 9.30-11.30 monday and wednesday ONLy..

I believe it was the best trip from shrj to abu dhabi

yeah it was..hahhaha i travelled from sharjah to abu dhabi many times but it was the best ever..hahaha
and you can visit Grand Mosque while in AUH since you will finish early. You will still have time to go around abu dhabi... (that's what we did..hahaha)

Your welcome Alice not a silly question at all.. all you have to do is to go to any aramex even the ones in the mall ( i get mine at Diera City Center). Just ask them for a return airway bill. they will ask you if you intend to submit your passport in person (they know what's going on..hahha) they will give you one slip.. no need to pay coz you will pay when ypur passport will be returned

I have good news..

I received CAIPS notes and it shows:
Medical PASSED
Criminality PASSED
Eligability PASSED

DUE Date xx June 2014

Any idea whats gonna happen next?

Eligibility Passed = As per your document/information/form you are meeting PR eligibility criteria

Medical Passed= your medical examination is passed

Criminal Passed= Received your all PCC and they all are in good standing

Security = what is the status of Security? I hope it must be pending. If pending then they must be checking your Admissibility in Canada; I think they must be reaching different agencies and trying to get clearance within and outside Canada.

Due Date = it’s like a alert for them, they usually put some date to review the application (for further action), if they get clearance for security screening most probably you will get your PPR request before due date.

In CAIPS notes, they hide its status purposely In other words if its blank that means its in progress.

if its fine and and medical is also passed (and not expired), then they should request for Passport

in my ecas it is stated "medical results have been received" does it mean that they finished checking my medical ??

I am not sure, but I think its assumed that medical is passed. However CAIPS notes will let you know exact status.
