Not yet...My medical was done on 1st Aug and I also requested GCMS notes which are showing that case is in security screening. Lets hope for the best.

I have seen one friend from Egypt who's visa is issued this month. I think only Pakistani cases are taking longer time bcz of security clearance delays.

Yes Egypt VO has less processing time as compared to ADVO.

Egypt processing time is 11 months whereas ADVO's 28

its less than 1 year now, these r old cases took 36 months to finish next update it might become 19 as it was few months ago, or 50 depends

Hi everyone, I need some insights, views regarding my update. Last Nov.18 I received medical request from Abu Dhabi visa office. Me & my husband done our medicals here in Dubai, & my 2 kids did the same in the Philippines on Nov.26. During my kids medical in the Philippines, the physician panel asked my eldest, 9yrs old, for 2 separate x rays on the same day. Today I received a snail mail FROM CIC, HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA, HEALTH BRANCH IN NEW DELHI INDIA for medical furtherance. Anybody with the same case that visa office is ADVO but medical furtherance came from New Delhi?

I am so busy and seen that you arrived CA , how was it for you? weather now is terrible but still manageable , how's job hunting ?
My husband got job after 2 weeks we arrived right now im focusing on being a housewife at the moment you know things such as arranging my husband's breakfast and baon. Let me hear from you .

Yeah the weather is terrible specially the humidity. Job hunting is good, my wife already started a week ago while I am waiting for any calls from the companies I've submitted my resume.

We are done with the following applications:
1. SIN
2. Child Tax
3. Drivers License (Written test will be on Dec 30 then road test will schedule soon)
4. Bank Account

After we received our PR card we can start applying the Health Insurance immediately.

We are done with the following applications:
1. SIN
2. Child Tax

After we received our PR card we can start applying the Health Insurance immediately.

Thats good to hear we took the driving written test glad that we both passed , SIN and health card we completed on our 2nd day in Canada i am so impressed everythings are free , we had flu shot for free as well and we are enjoying our credit card instead of using our debit card but of course we have to pay our dues right away they said that we use our credit card instead our debit card to build credit history.

BTW which area are you from in winnipeg?

I am in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Appointing for the test drive took almost 1 month, maybe only few examiner here.
