Hi everyone,

Need some clarification how many photos do we need to submit for PPR? i swear i cannot find any number in the photo specification ive been through all of the pages but cant find anything , i just dont want that i will screw up on this final stage....please help anyone?????

I submitted 6 for each... 5 with name, date of birth and photo date was taken (written on the back side) and 1 is blank.

I went back to the checklist previously given to us when we are about to submit the application to CIC.

I also made sure that the pictures were taken not more than six months from the time we have submitted our passports.

I sent an email at ADVO regarding photos.

The embassy replied, we need to send 3 photos each (principal and dependents).

To ask u guys, have you got the RPRF along with the PPR? or
It was sent to you earlier?? Also did they request you to
Submit all your passports (including expired ones) or just the
Current passports?? and can you share the form of the PPR letter
( excluding ur personal details) this will be really appreciated..!!

Well, the medical letter says:
IMPORTANT:You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this letter.Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application


I know the doctor was on leave but just for a period of 3 or 4 weeks, they can simply tell you that you could have done the exam in Sharjah or Dubai within these 60 days.. But you never know, they might get convinced and give you an extension if your case is well presented.

I sent a request explaining the situation and they gave me a 30 day extension. However I still think as you said extensions are hard to get.

Hi, surial!

My PPR request stated that i need to send only our passports and photos. About RPRF, no it was not asked anymore since i already paid it during the visa processing.
I will send an email to ADVO if expired passport is still included then i'll get back to you.

Hi Surial,

Yes the email i received from ADVO includes request of RPRF
and payments should be made only through Demand Draft
in CAD currency. We only submitted the valid passport for the purpose
of Visa stamping no need to send for the old passports as its waste
of money and might cause of delay in case they will reject your documents .

I think every application has different requirements when it comes to visa stamping..
My PPR request requires only the passport and photos. These are the ony items marked with an X.
On my visa processing I paid 550 each adult and 150 each child and another 490 for landing fee for each adult.. Maybe, this is the reason why I am no longer asked to pay the RPPF. That requirement is not marked with X...

may I ask if you are the principal applicant and how many dependents do you have? the time lapsed from my AOR is exceeding 180 days already with so far no sign of medical request and I can only relate it to the fact that I have traveled to a dozen of countries in the past. could that be the reason why perhaps my security checks are taking so long? I am the principal applicant and have 2 dependents. how about you are you also a FSW backlog pilot applicant? did you also travel to many countries resulting in a prolonged security checks for your application file?

Yes, Im FSW pilot program which been nominated last year from NC
My initial application was submitted back in 2007 can you imagine???

Im a principle applicant with 2 dependants, I did not travell to anyware except my
Home country Egypt and here...!! Just be patint and u will get it soon

we'r required only to submit 2 recent photos w/ specifications attached....do not write ur name at the back
