did anyone think about expenses in Canada?

housing rent and daily expense? like 3000$/month for small family?

what about waiting jobless one year, are you ready to spend 36000$, 130,000 AED?

what about landing and keeping families their and schools, then some1 of family will be working here?

We've thought of that even before applying. You just have to have some guts. Obstacles may come through but always think POSITIVE. Ready yourself and don't listen to rumours. We have our own lives, our own destiny.

That's you and your fiance, my friend... not me. Why apply for Canada in the first place if you think you will not survive there? POSITIVE attitude will pull you up. Yes, there will be obstacles (it is given) but that won't stop me from hurdling. ;D

Hi guys,
I received my medical request on the 28th of June 2013. I live in Abu Dhabi and there is only 1 approved doctor here which was on vacation most of July and August. Long story short, I wasnt able to get a medical appointment for myself ( when I got it I had to travel for work). My family got their medical done (wife and daughter) however now 60 days have passed and I didnt get mine done as I am again travelling for work. I have explained the situation to CIC abu dhabi via email asking for a another 30 days extnesion. I would assume it wont be a big issue. What do u guys think?

Well, the medical letter says:
IMPORTANT:You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this letter.Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application


I know the doctor was on leave but just for a period of 3 or 4 weeks, they can simply tell you that you could have done the exam in Sharjah or Dubai within these 60 days.. But you never know, they might get convinced and give you an extension if your case is well presented.

We had our medical last April 1, 2013. It was received by CIC few days after, so more than 4months.
