How many months are given to land afer visa is issued for canada. I heard atleast 1year is given.

aha so they already started march AORs, still going fast.
your case was slower coz missing documents maybe.

you must land b4 you medical expires, so you must get visa b4 ur medical expires

Hi Phoem,
I have approximately the same timeline.
Received my first AOR in Jan, 2013.
In mid of July they had asked for additional documents as well as updated my status to 'IN PROCESS'.
So, waiting for the next step. Don't know whether they will ask for more documents or for MR.
In case of any update, please keep us updated.
I am Ontario Province Nominee.

Further I am part of PNP Feb thread as well and there are 4 ADVO applicant but no one got any update.

what do u see on ecas?
its 4-5 months for medical
did they ask you for updates?

its in series going ,
you see osamaR AOR date is 14 Feb 2013 got medical
Pheom is last week Feb 2013 got medical
now you must be next

Dear Khurram,

I am from Pakistan and currently residing in Qatar. I don't think that they will process the cases based on nationality, however, not sure.
Actually the documents which they had requested, were already with the application kit. I don't know why they ask to resend the same documents 2-3 times.

Hi Guys,

It seems to me that the problem is not whether they mention application started or medical request. I think many staff in the embassy can do that. The Main Issue as it appear is that there is no or few diplomats to actually stamp visa on the passport . I might be wrong but a positive outlook is to know if any PPR was made after 26 july 2013. In which case things are moving which is good. If not, well I can not expect anything soon...

ADVO received my MR May 2013, almost 3months now but i M expecting delays in visa issuance due to strike issue. Hope it will be fixed soon.
