I am in Manitoba and my friends work permit expired he got calls from bank everyday for status updates and MPI which is insurance and license authority Suspended his license so he had to pay extra for 30 days validation and his health card was expired too so had to deal with them.. its overall lots of headache but upto particular person
Maybe in BC it is different, I have enquired at my bank and they said it's not an issue (CIBC) and my BC driving licence expires on my Birthday in Nov.

245 working days from AOR .. it is looks like you can get PPR at any time during the month. I am thinking you need to call to IRCC and ask about your application status (Sometimes web page does not show correct information, maybe you already have it).

I don’t know the number to call in manila visa office. I sent them an email. Their response was just a generic reply ( I think) that my application in in queue.

Hi there,

BCPNP, EE, Inland with work permit. With 3 dependents all inland.

September, 2018, File PR application
Oct 27, 2018, File rejected as missing part of police certificate
December 2018, police certificated uploaded
Jan 2019, requested for salary slip & submitted in one week.
Feb 27, 2019, medical passed
Current status:
Reviewing whether or not you meet the eligibility requirements
You do not need additional documents
you do not need an interview
we do not need your finger prints
we are processing your background check
Your final decision is in progress.

The status has not been updated since Feb 2019, except for a phrase saying "About 20% of our applications are more complex to process."

EE says it normally takes 6 months to complete. Mine has been a few months more...

Any similar cases?

Thanks for any input!

Who told you express entry (pnp) takes 6 months , currently it states 18 months waiting time on the cic website however for some people its only taking 11 months (for example August 2018 applicants) .
Dont stress you are still within the processing time.

Hi thanks for the reply. It was stated in the letter from ircc: )
Hi,

You are in the wrong section. This section is for PNP Paper Based. You will find more help in the EE section.

As to why yours is taking longer, it seems that you had to submit additional paperwork, that adds extra time.
Call them and see if your Security is done.

I just received RPRF this morning!
AR: November 01, 2018
AOR: January 30, 2019
MR: May 13, 2019
MP: June 13, 2019
RPRF: August 08, 2019
Biometrics: I had already submitted in Aug 2018 (for a work permit) so no need to redo.

How long do you think for PPR/CoPR?

Also, my current work permit expires on Aug 26, 2019. I think I should wait until last minute to apply for a BOWP right?
UPDATE: Got Pre-Arrival Letter this morning

Oh Woow. Congratulations. My AR is Nov 13, 2018. So possibly I'll be getting update very soon I believe.
Pre-Arrival => PR Still need a lot of time, I would not expect to receive PPR before middle of November. People who received PPR in 10-11 months, got AOR for a short time ~month.
